Ibex - Sony Design Masterclass

This is Ibex, a game character created for the Sony SCEE Character Design Masterclass.

She's basically a horny pregnant woman...

... well, not really.

Sony asked for strong silhouette, visual metaphor and an appearance which fitted with one of their previous game titles.

I really learnt a lot about texturing and rendering whilst working on this, great fun!

I based her on someone with a very interesting life and facial aesthetic who I used to be friends with. Sony's previous title had used actors for performance capture, and the actors' faces had influenced the game models. Me and my friend took photos and I modelled from these to obtain her likeness.
